The
greatest thing about browsing the web today is the use of browser
extensions. The variety that each browser comes with is pretty
creative extensions from blocking everything of Miley Cyrus on the
internet to using different programs through the browser to better
your experience on the web.

1. AdBlock Plus
This
extensions helps get rid of all ads within a website. It helps
pages load faster and makes the page more organized. You never
have to worry about pop-ads blocking you from viewing the page
without having to close it, and the ads on the side that tell you
have won a prize, and even background videos that scare the hell out
of you when you didn't realize your volume was up! Then you're
completely lost to where the video is and trying to stop it from
playing as it makes the loading page lag.
2.
WOT (Web of Trust)
I
find this extension so helpful because I'm pretty bad about going to
sites that are unsafe sometimes and finding malware on my PC due to
that site. Then there are those type of sites that refuses you
to exit the browser completely and you have to go into Task Manager
to shut it down to restart the browser. Anyway, this truly
helps out in my browsing experience making a lot safer. You can see
all the comments from other people why the site you're looking at is
unsafe before entering it. It warns you as soon as you click on
the site. You see the color icons as seen in the picture above
for any link whether it's Facebook, Google, etc. Green is good,
yellow is to be cautious, and red is well obvious to not enter. It
proves that not all the links on Facebook are safe or just basically
spam.
3.
Evernote Web Clipper
Evernote
Web Clipper is pretty much a convenient extension to use. It
makes saving pages, pictures, and notes easier to clip into Evernote.
It's so much better than bookmarking a site because it takes a
"picture" screenshot of the whole entire website including
all the links and so on as it is. It can be accessed anywhere you are
as long as you have wi-fi. You can just clip a screenshot as is
of what you're looking at instead of the whole entire page. You can
clip anything you select with your cursor to copy text or pictures.
Speed
Dial is a quicker way to saving pages as soon as you load up your
browser. It's all preloaded and within a click as seen above, it
loads like lightning speed! You can edit your links
and thumbnail images. You can put as much sites on there
making it easier to access.
